Fox Hollow was a tired 3 bedroom 1960's bungalow in a lovely location. The owner wished to develop the property for eventual onward sale so required a spacious high quality completed building, however the budget was important. 

A single storey rear extension was added to create an extended Kitchen/Diner, and separate lounge looking over the garden. The remainder of the house was planned to give four bedrooms, ensuite and a bathroom, plus a spacious utility room. All of the primary services were replaced along with windows, roof and render. A small deck was added at the rear to provide a transition down to the garden, due to the nearly 1m level between them. Hardie Cement Board cladding was chosen for the extension as a contrast to the render.
