New Build

The Corbetts' first self build home is located in the pretty market town of Axbridge, Somerset. Whilst not a dream plot, it's proximity to the school and town centre was perfect. Local planners dictated a quite traditional exterior due to the location, however they could not control the interior design, which is far from traditional. Mid Levels proved to be a light and comfortable family home for seven years.

The structure of the house is Insulated Concrete Formwork. Simon and three local tradesmen erected the main shell in three weeks. Concrete beam and block floors continued the 'solid' feel of this build.
